On Monday 9 November, Cosima Buccoliero, prison manager and director of the Milano Bollate prison, was a guest of our convivial digital. Buccoliero spoke of everyday life at the time of Covid in a place where the priority is the recovery of inmates. She told how the detainees had to accept, following the recent regulations, the limitation of external visits. These inevitable containment measures have been obviated through the use of cell phones and various technologies that have allowed inmates to maintain relationships and family relationships. The president of the Club's Projects Commission, Alfio Morone, then intervened thanking the director for the great availability reserved for the “Two-Wheeler” club project, temporarily suspended due to the pandemic, but which will resume as soon as possible.
The visit of Governor Roberto Bosia
At Palazzo Cusani, on Monday 21 September, was held a convivial meeting entirely dedicated to the visit of Governor Roberto Bosia. After the customary greetings and the welcome of the International Net president Andrea Melacini, the very welcome guest and all the participating members and guests, the Governor intervened with words of appreciation for the various projects in progress, hoping for an even closer collaboration between the club and district.
With the hope that the Rotarian year can continue peacefully and in presence, the evening ended with the real, and non-virtual, touch of the bell by the President.
Honesty in power - Gabriele Albertini
The highly applauded guest of the evening of Monday 5 October, at Palazzo Cusani, was Gabriele Albertini, entrepreneur and mayor of Milan for two terms, MEP and Senator of the Republic from 2013 to 2018.
After the greetings of the President, the speaker brilliantly entertained members and guests present by explaining the oxymoron - boiling ice - which refers to the title of the book Honesty in power, the topic of the evening. That is what defined the revolution of the Good Government, which led Milan, the capital of entrepreneurship, to claim the role of a great European city, men and women from the business world who have worked in the service of the community, inspired by ethical and legality criteria, but at the same time pragmatic. Where efficiency is also solidarity.

Art and photography: an excursus on vintage and contemporary photography.
An interesting evening on the theme "Art and photography" was held on Monday 14 September at Palazzo Cusani.
The speaker Michele Bella presented to the members an excursus on vintage and contemporary photography. From Italian neorealism to conceptual photography to the great American photographers. It was also discussed the selection criteria of works and authors not always known to the general public.
Michele Di Bella devoted himself full time to the activity of gallery owner becoming Artistic Director of the Valeria Bella Gallery and creating a Photography section in a gallery that historically deals with Prints by ancient, modern and contemporary masters.
