Interclub of Group 8, organized by Rotary Milano Monforte
Last night, in the wonderful setting of Palazzo Visconti, there was the Interclub organized by our friends of Rotary Milan Monforte.
Great expectations and enthusiasm for the speaker of the evening: Letizia Moratti, former mayor of Milan and former Minister of Italian Education. Mrs. Moratti is now Chairman of UBI Banca.
Many topics were discussed during the meeting with Il Giorno's director, Sandro Neri, like: Expo2015, immigration, corporate walfare and the 2026 Olympics.
A delightful evening both for the company and for the excellent cuisine.
The mouth's tumor, a more widespread evil than you think
Yesterday evening, Dr. Andrea Senna, Vice-President of the Order of Physicians and Surgeons of Milan and President of the Board of Dentistry of Milan, was with us.
Dr. Senna told us about the main causes of the mouth's tumor, making us understand how this is a very widespread and not at all a rare evil.
Smoking and alcohol are among its primary catalysts and that is why we should limit ourselves with these two sins.
Let's start the Rotarian year talking about new technologies
It was a real pleasure to start the new season with these young entrepreneurs enthusiastic about their work.
The guys from Elvalue talked about the combination of art, culture and new technologies, like virtual reality and augmented reality. They are great experts in cultural planning.
They organize forefront team buliding and family day, making each appointment an unforgettable moment.

Discovering America and the world with Rotarian friends: the Rotary Friendship Exchange program
Last night an enthusiastic Monica Amari entertained guests with stories from her RFE, Rotary Friendship Exchange.
She and 5 other Rotarians, last August, left for the United States, specifically for Oregon.
They staid away for two weeks hosted by American Rotarian families.
For Monica and the other participants, the RFE experience was a time to learn about different cultures and build international friendships.
A great supporter of the RFE project is Simonetta Tiezzi, Governator incoming, who was present as special guest last night.
The head of RFE Italia, Andrea Noltes and Eleonora Sciarrone, in her tenth exchange, intervened in the evening telling us about upcoming trips in the program: Argentina, Mexico, Sweden and Finland.

Handover Rotary Milano International - NET 18/19 in the sign of growth
Yesterday evening, Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the beautiful location of Diana Sheraton Majestic, took place the transfer of the institutional position from both the past Presidents, of the Rotary Club Milano International, Alfio Morone, and of the Rotary Club Milano Net, Graziella Ruspi, to the new President of the newborn Rotary Club Milano International - Net, Fabio Di Venosa.
Fabio collects the legacy of two great Presidents who have had the merit of merging two important and established realities as were their clubs of origin. Alfio and Graziella have well understood the meaning of "making a system" between the parties and their members.
Now is officially born a new club composed of many members who will have to know each other and to learn how carry on together important projects.
Great success among members and guests for this funny evening full of awards and thanks. Many Paul Harris were assigned for merit and many gift from the past presidets to their assets.
We were also very happy to have with us the young people of the project Rotary Camp "youth exchange" . The internationality of our Club has been well represented also in this moment of celebration.
We wish to Fabio a big good luck for the coming year. A year where he'll come the main protagonist of a great change that will mark the growth of the whole club!
